Signals at SH 130 frontage and CR 176 in Mustang Ridge to be activated
Signal patterns will switch from flashing to standard operationÂ
MUSTANG RIDGE, TEXAS (Sept. 10, 2024) — Traffic signals at the intersections of CR 176 and the northbound and southbound SH 130 frontage roads in Mustang Ridge will switch from flashing to standard operation in early October, weather permitting. (The exact activation date will be updated here when finalized after equipment testing and installation.)
Temporary digital message signs have been placed near the intersections since Sept. 6 to alert drivers about the upcoming change. Contractors are also installing advanced warning beacons to alert drivers as they approach the signalized intersections.
The intersections meet the conditions for activation based on a signal warrant analysis conducted by SH 130 Concession Company and approved by the Texas Department of Transportation.
Drivers are encouraged to stay alert and drive with caution as motorists adjust to the new signal pattern.
