SH 130 Concession Company’s Mike Razniewski joins Texas Trucking Association Board of Directors

AUSTIN, TEXAS — (Aug. 2, 2024) — SH 130 Concession Company congratulates its Director of Business Development Mike Razniewski for his appointment to the Texas Trucking Association’s (TXTA) Board of Directors.

In his role at SH 130, Razniewski works directly with fleets and industry organizations like the TXTA to improve operations and spread awareness of SH 130 as a safer and more reliable alternative to I-35 through central Texas.

“I applaud Mike for his continued involvement with the Texas Trucking Association and his dedication to supporting the industry throughout the state,” said Adam Hesketh, SH 130 Concession Company CEO. “The Texas trucking community is critical to the North American supply chain. We will continue to support the important work of TXTA, and are proud of Mike’s growth into leadership in the organization.”

Razniewski serves on the TXTA Emerging Leaders Council and as Treasurer and Fundraising Liaison for its TruckPac, which organizes support for legislation critical to the trucking industry. He is active in many other transportation groups across Texas, including the Laredo Motor Carriers Association and San Antonio Transportation Association.

Since 2019, overall truck traffic along the southern segments of SH 130 has jumped by more than 84%. Despite the increase in traffic, the crash rate decreased again last year to 25 crashes per 100 million vehicle miles traveled (VMT) – the best safety report on SH 130 since 2014 and materially lower than statewide averages for similar roadways.

In 2023, long distance drivers saved over 230,000 hours by taking the southern sections of SH 130 as an alternative to I-35.
