Question 1: Tuesday, September 11, 2007
Would like to know the status of the project. Has land been purchased from landowners yet? If landowners haven't responded to your mailing how long until your next step?
Answer 1: Thursday, September 13, 2007
We are currently in the process of acquiring right of way for the project. Construction is expected to begin sometime in 2009.
Each parcel of land is being handled individually and each landowner has been assigned a personal representative from our right of way acquisition partner, O.R. Colan Associates.
All landowners are encouraged to respond to the letters and packages of information that have been sent. If landowners have been contacted but have not yet responded, we encourage them to do so. This will be the quickest and easiest way for them to obtain information about next steps. Because we are dealing with several different parcels of land and each case is different, we cannot provide a general answer regarding our next steps.
If you feel that you may be a landowner, you can contact O.R. Colan Associates at 512-398-5900 or 866-933-4672. They also have an office you can visit that is located at 1001 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, TX 78644. It is open from 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday and from 9am - 12pm on Saturdays.
Question 2: Tuesday, September 11, 2007
Status of the project. Has the land for the ROW been appraised? Have any landowners received an offer for their land? Has any land been donated or purchased?
Answer 2: Thursday, September 13, 2007
We are currently in the process of acquiring right of way for the project. Construction is expected to begin sometime in 2009.
Appraisals have begun for those landowners that quickly turned in their right of entry forms and requested that we expedite the process for them. We are doing all we can to accommodate these types of requests from landowners in order to make this process run as smoothly as possible for them.
At this time, we have not yet extended any offers but we anticipate doing so in the very near future - as soon as all surveys and appraisals have been completed for a particular parcel of land.
To date, no land has been donated for the project.
Question 3: Saturday, December 29, 2007 and Wednesday, January 2, 2008
Can't find all the road maps. More maps.
Answer 3: Thursday, January 3, 2008
3 types of maps are currently available for downloading and viewing on MySH130.com. They can be found in the ""Segments 5 & 6"" section under ""Maps, Photos & Schematics"" on this web page: http://www.mysh130.com/d.asp?id=Maps-Photos-Schematics
The types of maps currently available include: a general project map, an 8-page aerial map of the entire project and a detailed 60-page schematic plan.
The SH 130 Concession Company is currently in the process of developing a map that shows SH 130 segments 5 & 6 in relation to other Central Texas toll roads, as well as a project map that show secondary roadways in relation to segments 5 & 6.

Question 4: Sunday, July 6, 2008
I would like to see the plan for SH130; it seems to have disappeared.
Answer 4: Friday, July 25, 2008
The plans that were on the web site were preliminary and no longer provided an accurate representation of the SH130 facility between the proposed right of way boundaries.
Question 5: Thursday, July 10, 2008
What happened to the ROW maps showing all of the ROW between the "Station #'s" that composed approximately 80 strip maps for Segments 5 & 6? We need them back on the web.
Answer 5: Friday, July 25, 2008
The right of way strip maps that were on the web site were preliminary and were based on different geological positioning and scaling data that no longer provides an accurate representation of the proposed right of way area. These files are currently undergoing revisions and will be made available at the earliest possible date.
Question 6: Sunday, July 13, 2008
If your vehicle is registered in texas, do you need to do anything else for continuous driving on texas toll areas?
Answer 6: Friday, July 25, 2008
Obtaining a TxTag for your vehicle is strongly recommended for two reasons: (1) toll roads in other parts of the state, such as Houston and Dallas, do not provide the opportunity to mail in your toll charges if you use the toll roads without a vehicle tag and your TxTag operates on all Texas toll roads (EZ Tag for HCTRA managed roads around Houston and TollTag for NTTA managed roads around Dallas); and, (2) discounted toll rates reduce the cost of your trip along toll roads in central Texas.

Answer 9: Friday, October 10, 2008

Question 10: Saturday, October 11, 2008
What to do if you mistakenly get on a tollway and dont have change.
Answer 10: Thursday October 16, 2008
Drivers without a TxTag should receive a bill in the mail within three weeks of using the toll road. If you have not received a bill, it may be because the address on your vehicle registration is not current. You should contact the Texas Tollways Customer Service Center (1-888-468-9824) immediately to avoid receiving a fine for your unpaid toll. You may pay your toll over the phone or the Customer Service Representative can mail the bill to your current address or email it to you. You should also update your vehicle registration information. Visit www.txtag.org for more information.
